All right i know by now folks are used to me posting 1x per month but because it's thanksgiving i decided to try to post today as well. Maybe i'll get into the habit and post often..i wanted to wish you all a great Holidays and a great weekend But i also wanted to post thanks on my blog to God for all that this year has brought me...some of the thanks the short version i posted on www.ylcf.org under their latest post...but it's the short version, here is a longer version..grab some pop corn, tea, or coffee may it be, sit down and write some thanks of your own, add them as a comment so i know that others are still reading and so I know also what you are thankful for my friends :)) And please check out www.ylcf.org ..Lanier who wrote their latest post gave me the idea to post thanks..so yes go check their web site out :))

I am thankful for...

~~~~~~~I thank foremost the Lord for Himself, that He is there for me through it All, that His grace is just enough, that he always gives me no more than i can handle AND that i am still standing still standing as that song goes :) )

~~~ I thank the Lord for all my friends that i have made this year at my church in Fairfield, all the friends i met online through Christian blogs, and through friends that i just barely met on facebook 16-18 all within a span of 2 days a few days ago..It was amazing..i met a great Christian friend VIA facebook and she told a lot of her friends to add me, and it made me smile to have so many extend their hand in friendship, i was having such a hard day that day, and the Lord knew JUST how to bless me :)

~~~I also thank the Lord for the family i have, my family especially my mom and cousin have blessed me immensely this year, i don’t know what i’d do without them :)

~~~I also thank the Lord for the great Job he provided me with, i've been with my last company drug store for 5 years this December 12th, and i got a 5 year pin and i get to order a gift which is such a blessing, i will order earings..The Lord has been so good to ME with this job, there were days only a few years ago when i could hold a job for only about 1-3 months, so yes HE is GOOD all the time.

~~~I also praise the Lord for the college that i go to, and that this far so far my grades have been really good this semester in my 2 classes, yes it took me hard work, but by HIS grace and His hand alone have i been able to succeed in them and handle it well..:) thank you Lord.

~~~ Last but not least, I thank and praise the Lord for a great 12 step program that i found to help me with my eating and other problems that life brings...HE helped me find CR *Celebrate Recovery* and i am so thankful that i started a 12 work step study..it's going great..Thank you Lord.

** I also praise God for a healing and delivering that HE gave me this last Saturday at our church prayer/healing night...I felt so delivered and so healed..It was truly amazing, thank you Lord!!

I am also sure this list could get longer, but i will stop for now..because I am tired, and need to go to bed now!! I may go shopping tomorrow..:) but definitely not at 4 AM..probably more like at 10-11 AM :))

This one is amazing about the virtuous woman, Paul Washer outshines in this one, he talks about how feminism and liberalism and sensuality is ruining the womanhood of today. That's so true...Wake Up America...girls like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears of nowaredays are woman like the ones in the bible that IN THE BIBLE were considered prostitutes and in Proverbs men were told to run from them..May we as girls and women show ourselves worthy of being called a LADY!! YES!!
That's basically the gist of what he said in that video..watch it :)

Here is a few more videos that I found that are a lot harder to take, they are both about being set apart for Christ and about how real hell is. And about how the church of today has watered the gospel down so very much that it's truly sad...here are those videos...:)

Be prepared for 17-20 minutes of real revelation!! We all need to listen to these wise words of these preachers. WE rarely EVER nowardays hear a gospel like the ones in the next 2 videos..so be prepared to cry out to God and ask for repentence dear friends because we all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God...in Romans..but there is Hope, there is Joy, there is Love, there is Forgiveness that the Lord gives us all..Lay Hold of it and never forget it!!!!
God is a just God but He also yearns to forgive you and wash you clean, he yearns to have a close relationhip with you..Turn and flee from all your sins and run To GOD wherever you are today we all need Jesus and HIS touch :) I felt his very dear touch in my own life this very saturday...we had a prayer/healing session in our church, it was amazing to meet the King of The Universe right there in the midst of my struggles, HE met me where I WAS, and gave ME love and forgiveness for all my sins and shortcomings HE DID...and i felt free and delivered MORE THAN EVER BEFORE!!!! It was amazing!! it truly was, i felt GOD move in my LIFE more than ever BEFORE because i finally LET HIM!! awww it was amazing...and i want to thank BRCC *Black Rock Congregational Church* for hosting this great event, i had such a blast...and felt reconnected to God like never before...it still doesn't mean that LIFE is easy or peachy for me, it can still get hard, but with God on my side nothing can stop me and like that verse in Corinthians says...""My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness..."" Such an amazing verse....:) It always comforts me...ok here are the 2 videos...but before i post them i need prayers, please pray for me dear friends, and if you EVER have prayed for me, pray hard, for 2 things in my life need to be amended and surrendered to God...:))

1. Food and it's hold on me is not good at all.
2. a manager situation, i have a manager in my line of work that i grew way too endeared with, i need prayers on that front HARD prayers, because he has a girlfriend, he is not Christian and he is my manager..please PRAY that i don't feel attracted to him, that GOD takes this from me and that i learn a lesson from all this, and pray that NOTHING not a thing in my speech nor my behavior nor manner nor my eyes reveal anything of the sensual sort..May i look on him and treat him and talk to him in a professional manner and see him as a brother, not anything beyond that..Just pray for wisdom and guidance in this, these are the 2 things i've struggled with HARD these 2 months..but now it's time for me to step out of the woodwork and ask for my bloggie friend's prayers and support!
Thank you all so much for being here for me through these months, you all mean so much to me, and you all know who you are :))

Hi my dear friends, i am sorry i've been so out of tune lately and not blogging much...i hope i still have some readers left to see and hear what i found on youtube today :)) Has anyone ever heard of Paul Washer??
He is amazing, his teaching (doctrine) very solid, and all his 8 videos convicted me in so so many ways.
I feel challenged after watching most of the 8 videos to live in purity, repetence, and seeking after God more than ever...Our salvation, professing our faith in the Lord is the start of our faith walk, not the end and be all of it.
It's not enough to stand before God one day and say Lord Lord Lord i (so many years ago) came to CHrist, i acknowledged your name, but No Lord i didn't truly walk in your ways the rest of the days of my life. IT"S SIMPLY Not enough to just come to Christ when you were a child, it's more than necessary folks to repent daily, hourly, and submit to the Lord, King of our Hearts. And to Surrender like my friend Katy says.
I am speaking to myself not only to all of you..There have been days that I didn't seek after God with all my heart, i am not perfect, but the worst of sinners saved by God's grace. Complete grace.
And there have been days that i wrongly took God's sacrifice on the cross for granted..I was a fool..a complete fool to EVER have thought that ""I am a sinner saved by grace, so now i have a license to sin, God will forgive me "" what foolish thinking..Like Paul Washer said in his last video...in my own words..It's a marking of a ungodly unChrist like church member to think that by Grace we are saved, so now we can sin, for there is grace...But the sincere Christian is the one that Will want to serve the Lord always and repent daily from all sins.

He didn't say it exactly that way, but you get my gist??
His videos are amazing..and no matter if you are a Calvinist or a more Liberal Christian anyone...ANY Christian can learn so much from his videos..and salvation and the pure gospel flows freely from his lips..too often nowaredays, preachers and pastors hand out a sugar coated gospel if you can call it that, the way they talk about God's grace and about an easy way of getting into heaven, and of How you just porfess once and it's enough...For remember my dear blogger friends, the way is narrow the way to heaven is narrow and very few enter those gates..Just watch his wonderful videos, everything i said will make much more sense after watching what he said..He said it so much better than i :))

If you can't watch all the 8 videos at once, then just watch 1 or 2 and then the rest this week..:) but definitely give it a listen :))

p.s. I am doing great, just really tired tonight...i can't give a complete update but everything is fine, i am getting ready for college, and very excited..and i had an eye procedure done last week, all is well..i still have to take a lot of eye drops, and my vision was blurry the first few days..now i am better, and worked this Friday :) well this is long enough..sorry this was so so long!

God does listen to prayer..and if you are not Christian, please pray too! God loves his little ones!!

Hi all i am so so sorry i've not posted, life has been mundane nothing too exciting, i am doing well though..and back on track with W.W.
i have lost in 2 weeks 4.8 pounds i still attend celebrate recovery, but not as often because i don't want to overwhelm myself with too many recovery programs..what is working so much better than last time with W.W. is i don't see it as a diet in any way shape or form..I see it as better eating, as a lifestyle change :))
out of 2 weeks i had 1 off day..which was yesturday.
I ate 54 points..which is roughly 2,600 cal..that's my highest day that i had since i restarted but seriously i am not beating myself up!
today was a new day and i did so well!
30 points so far...1,500 cal..almost to the mark..i get 32--1600 daily's and a few extra a week :) Life threw a lot at me last week..i had a wedding of one friend :)) it was such a beautiful wedding.
They(Dana and B) they wrote their own vows for each other, it was so beautiful...also the bride came first..the groom came last..there was spiritual meaning behind it of course..the meaning that Christ will come LAST after his bride=the church..such a beautiful wedding! they the bride and groom even washed each others' feet..i was stunned as she sat down in her gorgeous white dress on the floor and started washing B's feet...that was such a cool way to show her submission and love for her beloved.
It was such an amazing wedding!
BUT at the wedding i did really well eating wise, it was such a victory for me not to have the food RULE ME in any way.
i loaded up on veggies, fruit, shrimp, cheese 4 cubes, 5 crackers, and some chicken..but i also enjoyed 1 slice of cake and half a glass of champagne!
i've been feeling that everything in moderation is ok...;)

that's why i love weight watchers, because you can have that cookie and not feel guilty!

another NSV*non scale victory* that i had 3 times in last 2 weeks...all 3 times i was craving dark chocolate, so i bought a Hershey bliss bar 160 calories..and i ate half, then i carried the other half for 3-4 days and then 4 days later i finished it, this never happened to me before..same thing today i only ate half!!

honestly i can't just give credit to myself, nor just to w.w. BUT to the Lord alone!
He was the ONE that carried me through today with a cheerful attitude :)
and He helped me not to give up on myself after my mini-binge yesturday!

the binge actually came out from something that my stepfather said, he said something very insensitive and very mean..So i didn't know how to deal with it, so i overate..BUT it's ok, i am only human!
What i learned from yesturday's experience is if this happens again, if someone offends me again to just to TALK TO God about it! not vent with food, but journal, read the bible, pray, also pray for that person..that's what i should have done..but i am a work in progress..not perfection..but just a work in progress..:)

And i know God will carry me far far...and I know He'll bring me everything i've prayed for...like a good husband, family, maybe a college degree..or a life in ministry, or missions!

i've already gone to New Orleans 2 years in a row..and next week, i am doing 2 days of ministering to the poor in Bridgeport, we'll be doing a lot of painting and other things to help them..because they are below poverty level..and they NEED Christ most of all! please pray for the poor all over the world, including the ones that live in Bridgeport, CT..and also please pray for Kate..

Kate is a 5 year old girl who has tumors in her brain, she's the sweetest thing..i don't personally know her or her family but i'm posting 2 of their Youtube Videos in my next 2 posts...i hope that they will upload..Wish me luck :)

they are written by different authors and have a different style :) they are both a bit lengthy but you can glean so much from each one about being single and being content in God alone, one of them talks about how we walk with our baggage, and how we should walk and define us not by our dreams, desires, talents..but by our love and service to God :)) amen! please read them! thanks!

Hi everyone, this will be a mini update..just to let you all know that i am alive and well i am ok..:)
I just felt the need to update 'cause i've not in so long, but it's late here around 1:30 and i need to get to bed..i just wanted to say that my eating is better some days worse..it depends..But i started attending a 12 step program which is Christian based :)) yay! the name of it celebrate recovery you can google it too, because they deal with any addiction or any hurt or hang-up! so please check it out!
they didn't pay me to advertise i swear LOL
i just love the program so much and can't say enough about it, they have so much fun too!
here is the way it goes :)

6-7 PM--dinner
7-8 PM--worship and lesson/dinner
8-9 PM-groups sharing open share for 3-5 minutes
9-9:30--socializing time and desert

and they also follow the 12 steps and 8 traditions this time i really may try to do the 12 steps..i am at the bottom of my rope. And i definitely needed help!
enough is enough i can not and won't binge every night!! i can't bare to look at the scale, my weight is higher than ever...it's 240-241!!! ahh!!

so i gotta snack less at night, so i devised my own plan thanks to my friend Stacey :)
she said that maybe having a sound meal around 11 PM because i sleep in very late..would do wonders and have me snacking less, so i tried it tonight, i had a turkey and ham sandwich around 11:15 and i am fine since then, no binges..i may have a small snack before bed..and go to bed happy :))
and my tummy not too full!

God is sooo good!

i am so excited for tommorow, i am going to a party of a friend's and next friday i have my New Orleans missions trip reunion and then 2 weddings this summer!
this should be a fun fun summer :)

all right time for bed in a few minutes!!

time to confess and to post again :))

all right, i've been gone a long while, but everything is so so!
my life has been full of ups and downs, more ups, but a few downs.
MY biggest weeks full of excitement, happiness, serving and just plain fun was in New Orleans the week of April 11-18th..and the excitement was in March when i was in Europe!
New Orleans' experience was totally gratifying, life changing and brought me that much closer to our Lord and Savior :)
i'll talk more about New Olreans' experience in a few paragraphs..for now i am going to confess one of the biggest weaknesses of my life.
and that's food!
i honestly think i have a food addiction..there i said it..i've been struggling with that for all of my life since i was 15-16..i use food for comfort, loneliness, boredom, being hungry and the list goes on.
I felt yesturday that the Lord wants to get me out of this pit of addiction, i felt his love and peace..BUT what are the steps for fighting this addiction??

yes some of you may tell me, PUT ASIDE the food and step away..honestly it's easier said than done...sometimes it's almost impossible to stop..the other day, 3 nights ago..i bought a sandwich, crackers, and Starbucks ice cream..all was amazing..and no i didn't finish all that i bought..BUT as i was eating the Starbucks ice cream, my body was screaming at me after eating 1/2 the pint to stop..i didn't want to, BUT i stopped only by the grace of God.. usually when eating the pint, i'll finish the whole thing no problem.baby steps though you know?!!
and the only reason why i ate 1/2 of it was because God was also begging for me to stop!! Ahh the power and glory of God that HE in his mighty glory even still intervenes into our small stuff..but YES He helped me with that.
i just need an answer from you my friends here online, where can I get help for this addiction????
i tried everything, i tried weight watchers many times, diet pills long ago, Overeaters Anonymous 2-3 times, and such...is there maybe a christian organization that fights food addictions??

does anyone know??

because in my honest oppinion & humble oppinion people with alcohol, cigarrette, and drug addictions can be done with it easier, first they can go to AA and go to rehab for 1 month and then avoid bars, raves, drugs etc..but food is everywhere i go, i also work around FOOD..i work in a store near a lot of chips, food, ice cream..i need guidance and direction..can anyone pls HELP ME???

i already did the first step to recovery, i admit that i have a problem..
now i need to get help..not sure how..:(

i may need to see a nutritionist that may help me eat better..but the underlying issues that make me overeat need to be dealt with and soon!!

i've regained some weight since Jan/Feb about 14-15 pounds..!! yikes!

well there goes the confession, now i feel better :)

p.s. About New Orleans it was such an amazing week! I felt like i was where God wanted me to be, i enjoyed my time serving and growing closer to God and to the people of New Orleans..it was purely amazing :) and i made many great Christian friends on the trip too :) it was life changing, and sweet! i took 1-2 weeks to readjust being back home..the first days were so hard..they are still hard...but it's easier now..but the food is taking over..please keep me in prayer over my food issues. because i don't purge nor undereat..i just overeat, and some days i have binges..like 2 days ago!!!

please keep me in prayer :)

and throgh it all...I know God is good, and He'll carry me through and i'll come out stronger from this later on..i know this will be part of my testimony someday :)
i may be able to minister to other girls who struggle with food issues, i know God will take care of tbis part of my life..i need to give it OVER to him, and lay it at the Cross..:)

i was checking out Blessed Femina's blog and she had a great quiz underneath, i usually don't go for quizes, but this one was fun and convicting and soo real :)
Each question when i gave an answer it gave me verses to ponder, so beautiful to be in HIS word..sometimes that kind of quiz is what we need to see to see our inequity and we need to be humbled, so please definitely check out this quiz :)
I highly recommend it :)
sorry this post is so short, i'm pretty tired tonight.
So i better go to bed, i just had the most interesting day though,
i had a full day at work and after that i went to a very good friend's bridal shower, it was so much fun!! i had a blast and my friend is getting married this July 17th..Congrats Dana and Bryce!!

what a great traditional song, i usually prefer modern CHristian music, but i love that old song so much, it shows just how much I need Jesus even if i don't always say it..i hope this uplifts you and encourages you in ways i can not, but the song and especially God can inspire you and GIVE you encoruagement :)
Even if you are facing hard times, esp. with the financial ruin we are in, JUST focus your eyes on the Lord, FOCUS your eyes on Jesus, focus on HIM so hard that you can't see anything else, if you do that, then the Lord will take all the other things and problems away, HE"ll heal you, and make you anew, HE will make your HIS and YOU will be different, i promise!

now i just need to apply my own advice LOL

p.s. my foot still has not healed properly, so please pray that it will heal, and i will see my regular Doctor this Wednesday on April 1st and i hope he has wisdom and helps me heal it so i can feel better and run again!! :)

Just remember that God loves you, JUST where you are at the momment, HE loves you not for who you'll become 10 or 20 years from now, BUT HE loves you for who you are at this momment??
isn't that powerful? and uplifting?

I sure hope so, because there is nothing more awesome than OUR God's love for us and there is nothing more awesome than OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!!

Hi everyone, i know i've left my blog for too long, but i just came back from Europe 1 week ago, been really busy but decided to update.
I need to ask YOU all to pray for a darling little baby boy, even if you are not Christian, please pray or keep him in your thoughts, he has serious heart problems, and strong heart palpitations, and just serious heart problems.

An Update..Please pray for me :))

Hi girls and guys :)
I can't believe it's already March 10, 2009.
and i've not posted in around 3 weeks. but here is a quick update..:)

Last time i posted i was an avid runner/jogger..training for my 5K but there was a setback in all that, i got a blister on the bottom of the foot, and THEN when i thought that was healed then i had a callous on the same foot..i feel saddened that i missed ALREADY 1 week of training for the 5K..my running group leader is trying to convince me to buy good running shoes to prevent from more poblems, i see her wisdom in all this, but they are sooo expensive!! if anyone knows where i can get cheaper pair pls let me know, it can't be walmart, because their quality is not the best :) Any ideas anyone? :))

But in all these setbacks and not running for 1 week is taking a toll on me physically, i've gained 3-4 pounds in 1 week without running..I am at my whit's end..but yet I can honestly say that I trust the Lord in all this, OR i am trying to Trust my bestest the Lord in all this..i think God is trying to teach me something about patience and about taking things slower, not running everywhere and always be on the run...BUT why does it have to be my foot? i LOVE to jog and run and walk and walk, i miss running so much, but I do know it will heal completely..Please Please just pray that my foot heals in time before this Friday..Yes before this Friday..because on Friday i leave for London and Paris for 7 days! and in Europe they do a lot lot of walking, i don't want to slow anyone down down there and walk on a hurt foot..So please pray for healing and for me to cultivate my patience :)

I heard the most wonderful sermon yesturday about Hurried Sickness..about how we all rush from place to place, trying to accomplish so many things at once..but never taking the time to smell the roses or help a child or take time for people..That was so powerful i am still thinking about it.
He also challenged us to 2 things...IF we like to drive fast or if we can't stand to stay in a long line at a grocery store to do THIS:

1. to drive in a slow lane, and try to Let God help you be patient, but just practice driving in a slower laner.
2. OR find the longest line in a grocery store and stay in it :)

LOL
the 1st applies to me more, i can't stand some of the time driving in the slowest lane...but i tried that yesturday as i was driving home from church ..it was a long ride and yes a couple of times i did go around the slow pokes :) BUT i caught myself and tried to stay in the slow lane..and i realized that I was sweating the small stuff way too much..and road rage is not fun.believe me!
i get mad sometimes when i drive, so from now on i'll pray to God to help me be more patient whilst i drive :)

Also last week i felt honestly like i was in the desert spiritually wise, i haven't gone to church for 2 weeks before that 'cause of the weather being yucky..:(
And i had so many doubts and even had a hard time trusting the Lord who wants only the best for me..I had such a tough week..BUT i gotta praise the Lord for good friends who set me straight FAST..all i did was do a facebook update saying that i was struggling with my faith walk, HELP..and they helped with wonderful verses and showing me their love..God taught me a lesson that day..that IF they love me so much HOW much more does God love me? So much more than any person can :)
And yesturday in church even before the pastor spoke, i felt God moving in my heart, as the worship songs i sang, i felt HIS love and HIS tender touch, and it meant so much to me that HE would take me back even with all the garbage i carry and all the sings, that HE still loves me NOT for the woman i'll become 10 years from now, not for the woman i'll be 5 years from now..BUT He loves me For who I am at this moment..such a powerful realization..ahh

another thing that helped a lot last week was reading the bible, one night i sat and it was i think 2:30AM and i wanted to go to bed, But i felt like even though i accomplished everything that day i still didn't read the bible that day so i read online a few great chapters :)

so many comforted me :) The Psalms, proverbs, etc.

Here are a few that helped me out :))
a couple i'll put here maybe they'll inspire someone :) because they inspired me especially the 1st one :)

Pslam 144:2---

He is my loving God and my fortress,
my stronghold and my deliverer,
my shield, in whom I take refuge,
who subdues peoples under me.

2 Corinthians 12:9--

My grace is sufficent for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."

And Last but not least this one was in the proverbs and was very convicting :)

Proverb 6:3-11~~~~

3 then do this, my son, to free yourself,

Go and humble yourself;
press your plea with your neighbor!

no slumber to your eyelids.

Ok this will be it for now, sorry for so many verses, but they really helped and inspired me and i was hoping that it might help someone else as well :)

Yes I hope you all enjoyed Valentine's day with your beloved..:)
sigh, with no man in sight, this day is usually hard for me, and reminds me of times with my ex fiance, BUT today was better.
i hanged out with my best friend who is single also, then we went to a bible study and DUG into God's word and then i went to visit my mom and stepfather!
so it was a beautiful day :)
But honestly i want to remind everyone that this is a commercial holiday, they sell those Valentine's candies, hearts, teddy's for a reason, sadly it's to make money and to make a profit ... AND i believe that my future husband should honor me and love me each day each day of the year not just on Valentine's day :)
not to berate the Valentine's day because there is some beauty in it, people celeberating their love ..giving flowers to each other..going out to dinner..YES all these are great..BUT look at John 3:16..God so loved his one and ONLY son that he let HIM die on a Cross to save us from all our sin and to save us from ourselves..ISN"T this love better tons better than any love on this earth?? :))

Jesus wants to give us a Valentine's day each and every single day of our life. What i mean by that is that Jesus wants to lavish HIS love upon us each and every single day just like on Valentine's day..actually even more, Because He's our Father, our Provider, Our beloved groom..HE wants us to love HIM each day of our life too, and not just on Sunday..Sundays are only 1 day a week...won't you give him each day, each hour, each momment?? That is the only true way to live..And it's sooo worth it :)
we were talking about this at my other new bible study in Stratford on Thursdays and i was saying how sometimes i wonder IF IF this way is truly best..Yes i know the World is dirty, soiled, and there is nothing good in it, BUT i see so many friends from work who live lives full of world's definition of "fun" they party, drink, cuss, sleep around, get truly wasted. And after seeing just how sad they are by the next day I know that's NOT the way to live and be truly happy.
BUT sometimes i am a little envious of all the friends and guys they meet.
Please pray for me about that that I only concentrate on Christ and that i pray for my future husband daily and that i prepare for him.
i want to be a good wife to my future husband. I want to give him glory and GOD glory first of all, him second..BUT i just need not to give up!

Please pray for me in this time, and please PLEASE pray that i am a good example to my acquaintances and friends at work..they need God's love to shine upon them, and i feel like I am "Jesus" to them, that i am the only one they see that can show Christ to them...in skin and bone, i have a really good friend at work and i feel i am the only one in her circle of friends who is Christian..i need good tips on how to show her God's love without being pushy and preachy..she doesn't like that, i even invited her once to my church she said maybe sometime she'll come..i just need wisdom about that :)
so please pray for me to show her God's love in the best way HE knows how :)

Also before i go, i gotta go because i gotta get up in 7 hours at 6:30AM i need to work at 7:30AM

i wanted to report some good news about my running, i am now able to run 5 minutes and 20 seconds without stopping, when in the beggining i could only run 1 minute and 30 seconds..I tripled my speed in around 3 weeks!
Marathon here i come :))

And Andrew thank you soo much for your prayers. I really appreciate it.

Hellooooo to all...so sorry i've been gone, I am back :))

Hi everyone.....i am so glad to have a few minutes to sit down and type here..i've missed blogging, i know i've been MIA for close to a month, many many things happened this month..:)
first off i started college again, this time i take 2 classes NOT 1!! :)
second of i've been working out more than ever, still not the 4-5 times per week, but much more intensely and 3 times usually!
i took up another sport i enjoy :))
guess what it is? RUNNING!
i am in love with it..i think God gave me honestly a liking and a body to run..so i am doing it!
I feel the Lord wants me to run a half marathon on June 28th, that gives me 4 1/2 months to train..so i am going to train like a lil monster so i can finish it..i will though do a 5K first, it's shorter a bit easier, if i can handle a 5K then i will do the half marathon in June..:)
i love running because i challenge myself all the time..and it's so rewarding to meet those expectations..Honestly it's more jogging than running...waling/jogging/running/walking etc
it's fun!

And in 2 weeks doing this i doubled my speed Praise God :)

when i first started doing this, i could run no more than 1 minute and 30 seconds without stopping ...NOW i can run 3 minutes and 15 seconds..I doubled my speed praise be to Him..i think i was born for this :)
i still gotta lose some weight though, lately i've been hungrier for some reason been eating more but so far i've mantained thanks to exercise!
i need to lose though and do some strength training so i can run the race!

So as you see i've been very busy that's why i have not blogged, but i've missed you all dearly!
That's why i am here to update..Please comment me all and tell me how ya all have been??

Also dear friends i have a request..:)

I am dealing with some stuff(garbage) from my past, some struggles and some inner problems..i talked to my pastor about it and he asked me to ask all my friends to pray for me because I'm struggling with my faith and i have felt a lot of spiritual attacks in the past 1-2 years..so i need victory from it, please just pray for my peace of mind and for the spiritual attacks to stop and for God's glory to be shown in all this...the only other thing i will say on this public blog about it is if any of you want to know a little more about all this, just email me i'll tell you more, maybe not all of it, BUT more than i can say on a blog :)

Please just pray for me to stay strong in Christ and to never abandon my faith :)

Hi guys i know i've not posted in a long time, i'm sorry i[ve been busy! but that update i'll bring in a few days when things are not so hectic.

BUT first of all i gotta ask you to pray for the Linn family...i found this blog through another girl Aimee's blog!
i'll give you the link to this blog.
The Linn family needs your prayers today and for many days after this, they just had lost their home to a fire.
a large fire that just destroyed their home. They were able to save all their 10 children YES 10 and the mother is ok..they are all safe.
Praise God..but they lost almost everything, except the clothes on their back.

Could you please sit down or kneel down and pray for them please my dear friends???

Where where are you my beloved? -- Part 1.

Yes where is he?? i've waited for this special man that God will send to me since i was very young, i waited and waited until i started dating. Big mistake. Big big mistake, through all these hard lessons that God gave me, through much heartbreak i learned to be more pure in relationships, and to perserve my body as a holy temple of God. Temptations befall everyone, but i repeat again, DO NOT DO NOT give yourself away before marriage, God set those rules for a reason in the bible, HE knows what's best for us =)) Just wait however long it takes..the waiting does matter, and God is like a potter, HE prunes us slowly and he molds us to be the best wife, mother, and friend and lover and daughter of God. These single years have been such a blessing to me. I have not been single long, only since this July, 2008. I had to break off a very dear relationship, because the guy was not Christian..after much prayer i had to put my foot down and tell him that God is first in my life, it tooks tears, but in the long run i am glad that we never got intimate. I learned the hard way about that long ago, i don't want to get into too much detail, but it's obvious that God had to prune me the hard way. He molded me, refined me like fire, and made me pure again through HIS Love, Faithfulness, and His Word.
I went through a very long relationship with a Christian man for over 2 years, we were engaged too, but things fell apart slowly, and it was for the best. God knew that relationship was not meant to be. So HE took him away from me to never return..BUT i am glad for that, BECAUSE if the Lord never took HIM away, i wouldn't be WHO i am today! i've grew stronger and more spiritual on my own without a man. YET i know the Lord is good and HE will bring me the one i've been waiting for....
the only question is when???
The strange thing is i think God had already sent him to me, someone at church is such a great guy, BUT i feel this is not the right time, so i'll just wait for God to sort all this out ...and to make time perfect or to send me another...Only the Lord knows what's best for us..He does..always have FAITH in HIM and trust HIM, it took much hardships for me to learn to trust HIM more and to not lean on my own understanding but on HIS own. I always relied on myself too much, i'm trying to break myself away from that, it's a slow process, because i'm stubborn lol

But seriously, this waiting seasons have refined me like nothing else. And i know that this long long time will eventually prepare me to be a better woman, wife, mother and daughter of the King Most High.

I can only pray and hope to be a woman like the one in Proverbs 31. But it will take a lot of work on God's part and on my part. I pray a lot, the thing i lack in my spiritual walk is to read more of God's Word. I get sooo busy with college, work, life that i don't read the WORD often enough. It has to be my daily essence...i know that, and gotta work on that =))

Please please pray for me to read the Word daily or almost daily. Please i need all the prayers that i can get =))

well this is all i can think of at the momment to post about love, dating, and marriage.
I might post more on the topic later in a few days. We'll see =))

I should be getting internet in my new place on the 27th...=) so i'll post more often then..take care my dear friends!!

Where where are you my beloved?

First off before i go into this devotional, i wanted to apologize for not blogging, i've moved into my new apartment about 1 week ago and I LOVE IT =)) i still get to see my parents almost every day and have my own independence I am so blessed to have them be my rock in life =))
But God is my rock first =))
Everything is good here, a lot a lot of SNOW..it's so pretty but very hard to drive in, yesturday i decided to be brave after much prayer i went on the highway to see my friends for a Christmas party in Fairfield, BUT the usual drive which takes me 50 min - 1 hour took me almost 2 hours the way there, and the way back took me 1 hour and 15 minutes!! wow i was totally tired at the end..BUT i have to sing Lord praises that HE got me through the drives safely..the highways were safe and completely driveable..it was just the side roads that were a killer, on one road 2 minutes from my friends' house i started skidding badly i thank God that no one was driving that road right then..after much struggle i was able to get there in one piece..We had such great time, of fellowship, laughter and fun =)) i even played a guitar in one DVD video game..Yes it was worth it, but i'm not doing that again for awhile, i won't drive such distances in the snow..! it was a little scary LOL.

Well.....now to my post the devotional part...
i will restart another post just for that, because this is already long =))

I feel in such a funk today...i wanted to start a series on singlehood/love/dating/courting etc etc
BUT honestly i'm tired tonight and out of ideas and i am not in best frame of mind to write this kind of devotional..i was going to sit down and just write my heart out, BUT when i do any kind of devotionals like about LOVE i try to let the Spirit lead me where it may..and I don't feel HIM right now because of different stress with my parents and with schoolwork..so i'll do this little series soon! it should be excing to do that =))
Everything is well..diet wise i've not been so good last week i still lost, but i've been slacking too many BLTs..bites licks tastes lol
and i have a cookie swap party this Wednesday and honestly this diet for me is a lifestyle, so i won't go in thinking I'm just going to drink water and eat only 1-2 cookies..NO NO lol i'll have 3-4 and be done =)) and track it and move on!
So far what i'm doing has worked =)) i lost 11-12 pounds in the last 7-8 weeks!!
yay =))
And i got all the furniture i was asking about in the prior post from a wonderful consignment shop all the stuff we needed, bed, dresser, TV stand all for 600+ not too bad! =) i'm so blessed, i'll be moving out in about 2-3 days!
i'll be completely out of touch with internet and TV for around 2-3 weeks, so if i don't post then don't be surprised..i just signed up for AT&T and they will install everything on December 27th..i might post from my parent's home but if i don't then no worries =))

i miss posting and i miss all your comments =))

Hi everyone sorry i've not posted in awhile..been really busy lately with college, work etc etc
But i especially couldn't post the last couple of days because i have a cold, it's still not gone, i need prayers please for God to heal me please from this cold! I pray the cold dissipates by Thanksgving day that's one of my favorite time of the year that and Christmas and i hope that i can enjoy my time with family and good foods and not be so sick!!
pray pray for me please!

And i learned more about this blogger web site, i think now i'll be able to at least post a few photos of myself so you all can see who i am behind the words =))
And i am hoping to load the music player soon, in the beggining it may only be a few songs but i'll make the list longer as the days go by =))

i'm in a good mood just runny nose and such lol

And tired..almost time for me to go to bed!

Oh also some good news on the weight watcher diet front =))
I lost 2.5 pounds last week, totalling around 9 pounds in the last 5-6 weeks!! yess thank you Lord! God is good, and He is the one that gives me strength with food and being mindful of how much i eat =))

Please also pray that i can eat mindfully on T-day..i'm so worried that i'll overeat, i do plan to have some fun LOL
i am definitely going to have turkey, a little mash potatoes, 1 cup of stuffing, mom's home maid cranberry sauce and brussel sprouts, maybe a couple of shrimp and some desert..hopefully i can stick to 1 small brownie piece and 1 small piece of pie..or either one!

So just pls say a prayer for me about eating on T-day and being sick..thanks so much everyone!

I"ll try to post a couple of photos soon either tonight or tommorow! but soon!

Kinda bored..

Hi my blogging friends, today was a long day and i'm bored now..i may need to start studying again soon so this will be short..just wanted to let you all know that i'm still here alive and well =))
My diet is going well...i only lost 0.5 pound half a pound this week, i'm a little discouraged but i know it will even itself out =)) i did have a higher calorie day today...i had some ice cream and hot choocolate..but the good news is the ice cream was 1 serving not more not less! 1/2 cup which was 3 points..so i'm happy that i can sit down and not scarf the whole pint =))
God is good =))

Oh some more news on the homefront i'm getting my own apartment so i'm in search for furniture not too expensive..does anyone have any ideas?? any friends that may have low cost furniture but in good condition? I live in CT area,,near Hartford or New Haven is fine..so here is the list of the stuff i need..please also pray that i find all this with lower cost according to HIS will =))

1. full size bed and mattress
2. dining room table
3. dresser and mirror
4. and writing desk
Last but not least maybe a TV

i'm going to Rock the Sound concert which will feature Leeland, David Crowder band, Newsboys, Skillet, etc etc I"M so excited it's tommorow night in Bridgeport CT there will be around 7,000 in attendance..I have a feeling that God will do something amazing tommorow, HE Jesus will change hearts, shift minds, and save souls and people's lukewarmness..each christian concert i ever went to i felt such energy and love =)) AND God uses anything or any circumstance for HIS glory and HIS glory alone..
i'm listening to Leeland right now...song's name is ...........Carried to the table..such an amazing song and so comforting and beautiful =))

Ok new post needed about election results..Obama wins..now what??

Exactly Now what?? Obama won with a large victory..but honestly the only victor is Christ =)) if you feel disheartened or sad or upset about our new president just think of Jesus HE is the victor and HE will have even Obama under his loving hand...and HE (Jesus of course) has everything under his control..i was honestly sad about Obama winning, after the concession speech where Mccain was so humble and meek even..i just felt completely terrified not of Obama winning but more of how the country can become under HIS rule...but the next day I felt God's ever-loving touch i felt HIM saying in his own way..."Don't worry my child..Everything will be ok, I will come and i will save...Just pray my child PRAY for the president elect and for his family" remember that verse?? pray ceaselessly..that's what i recommend all my blogger friends to do...pray ceaselessly for Obama and for his whole family..and for our country..and for our freedoms..and for everything else going on in the world...This is not mentioned much in the media..except i saw this on CPTV and heard about it in church..but Congo tonight needs our prayers..please pray for those poor people...Not only do they live in hunger and suffering like some other African countries..but they have a turmoil time there now, there are a lot of villains(criminals) rampaging through the villages, a lot of women have been raped, i think the war is political, but they all need our prayers especially the rape victims..it makes me sad and i feel for those poor ladies soo much...We as Christians are asked to pray for everyone, including Congo and it's people, for other people in other countries and for even our President Obama. Wether you voted for him or not..He deserves our respect and at the least our prayers....

Those lines alone hit me hard...to pray for him was one thing but to respect and honor and thank God for Mr. Barack?? wow that hit me hard..but it's true we should all do that if we are truly God's children..we are not to judge our president Elect..because God is the only final judge we are not to forget that God can save the day =))

We are to remember that God will have his say ..HE will come and save us.

I truly believe that we are in the end times now, and i believe with my whole heart that Jesus will come and save us all...I hope we in the mean time get on our very knees and pray for this beautiful country and for the president elect and for his family and especially for Barack's salvation...that's our duty as citizens of God's kingdom =))

All right i am getting of my soapbox...i'm done for now i promise!! i'm sorry this was so long and i'm sorry for my (probably) unpopular words of not just disagreeing with Obama's policies but of asking to pray for him...i hope you all understand that i'm not trying to offend anyone, nor am i trying to sound high and mighty i just speak the truth as i see fit..and this is my blog and please respect my oppinion as i highly respect yours..i fear this blog post will bring a lot of comments and maybe even some lurkers =)) i actually hope more comment on my page but politely of course!

P.S. i do want to mention even though i asked for others to pray for Obama Barack..i highly disagree with most of his policies...especially with his treatment towards the unborn and he even favors infanticide which i think says volumes about him..BUT i'm done criticizing him and i just ask everyone to pray for GOD to change this man...anyone can be changed and saved...Does anyone remember Saul--Paul?? he was changed..so can our president elect be changed with our prayers..Please please pray!! that's all i ask!!

My weight watcher diet is going very well..i've lost almost 6 pounds in 3 weeks so i am very greatful to God for helping me with this new lifestyle and i'm greatful for even saying NO to cake yesturday at our local fundraiser with my church, i had my crab cake sandwich and was happy and didn't need the cake at least not that day...so almost 6 pounds down and more to go =))

Hey everyone Sorry for being MIA

Hi everyone i'm so sorry i've not posted in over a week proably now, i just had nothing too eventful happen in my life so i didn't post..because nothing too interesting happened in my life, just same ole same ole, work, college, church..work college..etc!! lol
But i have some very good news to share diet wise...i have done weight watchers relgiously for around 2 weeks now..and last week on Firday i lost 3.5 pounds and this week i'll know tommorow, i weigh myself almost every day...but i only post friday's weight..so stay tuned=)) but i feel so good about myself..like it says in the bible...Our bodies are a holy temple of the Lord so we are supposed to nourish our bodies, give it love and not to eat to oblivion and disrespect our body...that took a long time for me to realize..and even though I've done w.w. for many times in a row this time it feels different..IT doesn't feel like a diet like it has before, it feels natural now and just good =)) Of course the first 3-4 days were hard, but i feel so much better about myself now..and i have a few goals that i'd love to share =))
I'll have to copy & paste this from another site....

1. I started W.W. flex points plan on 10/16/2008 & not giving up for the 4tb or 5th time!!

2. I won't give up no matter how long it takes to lose all my weight! yay!

3. My goal by 01/01/09 to lose roughly 10-15 pounds.

4. My other long-term goal is to lose between 35-45 pounds by next 10/29/09 in 1 year's time and be a size 14 W-16 instead of a 20 i'm now.

5. My personal goal is to learn to exercise and strength-train 4-6 times per week.

6. My other personal goal is to run, to run a 3K or a 5K ny 11/01/09.

7. Last but not least, To eat healthy still in a year's time.

8..Spiritually personal goal--to Serve God always.

So there it is those are my personal goals that i compiled in my food/exercise journal diary last night =))
I think the 2 keys to my success with sticking to weight watchers this time around, is that i post daily on weight watcher message board...i found 1 thread long ago with the best and nicest ladies around..and we post each day with encouragement, recipes and give each other lots of love and tough advice but it's wonderful =)) and i post my journal to these ladies each night i think that's what gets me through without overeating and sticking to program is that i subconsciously know that i have to fess up to them each night and that keeps me on track =))

Everything else is good..work wise everything is amazing, my boss was very pleased with my work yesturday i am so happy about that and i worked hard!! =))

College wise i am not doing too good, i'm not disciplined enough to sit down and study i have had so much running around to do =))
Please i ask for prayer in that area of my life please pray that i get more disciplined with my studies and get a better grade on my next test I appreciate all your prayers and comments that i get =)) thanks so much for following and looking at my blog =))
I see a lot of visitors but not so many comments..please introduce yourself and tell me more about you??
and please tell me the name of your blog so i can come check it out =)

Hi my blogging friends..i just wanted to say that all is well and everything is going very good in my life..God has blessed me so much last week through different experiences i had and just recently i started a good solid diet plan.weight watchers..wish me luck with that!

Music Videos..?? what do you all think of them?

Hi friends, this will be shorter than usual, because it's almost midnight and i need to get my beauty rest soon =)) but i just wanted to share what i think of music videos..They(the music videos) pollute our minds, our souls, our hearts..if we are not careful we could get corrupted. Not all are bad videos..there are a few and far in between that are sweet and bring God glory! I'll talk about those later..first let's start with Womanizer by Britney Spears. I was always a fan of Britney Spears, i as a young girl when i was 19 or 20 loved Her first song Baby One More time, i related to her songs and i thought she was a girl next door type..but last year a lot of things changed for her..i find her life was very turbelent full of sadness, heartbreak of her giving full custody to Kevin of her 2 boys, her cutting her hair bald, hitting papparazi with umbrella, being hospitalized at twice..Her life was such turmoil, I prayed for that girl hard..I really DID...I prayed that someone like God and her family would turn her life around..And i thought for a little while this summer that this girl was Back to normal..and she was..she was on a comedy show, got great ratings, then gave dancing lessons to little girls, got MTV music awards..but now i'm sad to say that my RESPECT is gone for her. Because of Womanizer. It first made me think "Wow this video is HOT" But then i had to slap myself silly! And repent for even thinking that. Because my flesh is weak but the spirit is very strong.

So after seeing it I have to say i'm disgusted with the video to say the least. It may be considered "hot" in this society or in this world..BUT i know as a Christian that it was lewd, carnal, and just plain too much nudity. She was virtually naked 50% of the time in the video, other times she was dressed but in very provocative garments. I mean C'MON what are the girl-singers think nowaredays that they have to lower themselves on every level just to get attention and make $$ i feel that it's sad what this society has come to..where celebrities think that they have to wear very little clothes and all make up and starve themselves for popularity...SO sad!!!

to tell the truth i'd rather be my size 18-20 then a 4 or a 2 or size 0.

they even got a size Double 0 now!! can you believe it???

i find it all so sad.

Back to videos..don't watch Womanizer video, unless you want to see for yourself what i'm talking about..BUT if you are under 21 don't even watch please.

BUT there is a ray of hope that i found today in 1 girl with a great voice. I always liked her music, but after watching a few of her videos today ..I have to honestly say that she outshines the rest in hollywood community..Her and our Christian singers rock!! =))

her name is Taylor Swift. Her voice is so wonderful and pretty..and i can relate to a lot of what she sings..=))

MY favorite videos of her are "Love Story" and "I'm only me when i'm with you"

My fave honestly is Love Story..the setting is back in the 1800's and it's similar to Romeo and Juliet story very beautifully done, the costumes are amazing and her voice is just great!

about the "I'm only me when i'm with you"

It's a really cute video, she has a lot of snippets of still life and of different momments with friends, i do have to warn that she does wear a bikini suit twice...but all in all the video is beautiful and her voice is great! Even though she does wear a bikini...this video is a lot more modest than Britney's, Janet Jackson's, Madonna's and Mariah Carey's videos.

I think Taylor Swift is a great artist and she is a good role model to young girls, I just hope and pray that she stays the same in the future!!

I think i'll get her CD's...=))

A lot on my mind today...

Hi my blogging friends..a lot is on my mind today...i have a heavy and a sad heart tonight that most people in Africa live on less than $1 per day..less than one dollar!!! Can you believe that?!?!
i heard a lot tonight at church about this dillema in Rawanda..so much so that i feel sad and a little hopeless about the genocide that happened there in 1994, within 100 days almost 1 million Tutzis were killed..i think it was roughly 800,000 lives were lost..those are statistics but lives were shattered and some were healed...It's so hard to describe everything that we heard and saw at church today..Our pastor interviewed a couple from Rawanda and they both told their wonderful stories of courage, hope and redemption and about forgiveness too..then we watched a 45 minute documentry about life in Rawanda after the genocide..it all sounds so sad, people were killed YES and i'm soo sad over it..YET something miraculous and wonderful has happened too, there are organizations and churches in Rawanda that have organized times in prison where prisoners who killed many innocent Tutzis were asked if they'd be interested in confessing their sins and then going and meeting their victims face to face and asking for forgiveness..It was soo amazing the movie concentrated on 2 women, one forgave quickly her enemy who killed most of her family...and the perpetrator after she said that she forgave him, HE and others in the village helped to build her new HOME!! now they live side by side...in peace,..Isn't that amazing??? AMEN AMEN again =)) the story of another woman unfolded too, her father got killed, and her perpetrator came to her with a priest and a few others and he asked her to forgive also, And she flat out refused...Of course i understand her pain and turmoil..but i was soo happy to see by the end of the movie that Chantel(the one whose father was murdered) i was so happy and amazed that 6 months after meeting her perpetrator for the first time, she finally let go and forgave..Main message tonight in our church with the interview and movie was that we need to forgive LET Go and forgive *that's my motto* LOL
But seriously, we in America are so blessed..we are soo blessed to have food on the table, to have a roof over our heads, to have a car, to have a job to have clothes to have a computer IF any of you have all these things than thank God for this today and PRAISE His Holy Name. =)) And remember that word forgiveness??
I have a lot of people to forgive in my life. A lot of them. And it's hard to let go and forgive..but when i see people that lost FAR more than i ever have forgiving than it's my part and my duty to God and to my family to forgive each grievance that was given to me.
One of my hardest people to forgive is my stepfather..i live with my mom and him and he and i usually get along OK usually sometimes though he picks on me mercilessly and mostly about my weight and about stuff just to bother me..And it's so hard to each and every single day to forgive, let go and move on..how can i do that???
When it's not 1 sin against me, but 1,000...any ideas anyone??
Please leave me a comment with any suggestions on how i can ignore him and forgive him.
I'd love to forgive him but my strength to do it fails me..So i need divine Help..and you all can help by praying for me, and leaving a comment with your suggestions, advice and prayers =))

Another thing happened to me long ago, i won't go on about this online, it's something very personal that someone did..and i need to forgive that person/s and just let God deal with it and let HIM take care of it...once again i need to forgive..i think it was very good that i went to church tonight ...it made me think and it made me feel and it made me write this post =))
i'm so so sorry this was soooo long! But i had a lot on my mind..LOL didn't i warn you all? hehe

Bible Illuminated..OR is it even a bible at all?? be warned this may be long =))

Hi ya all...how are you all this fine Saturday? I'm well yet i'm so angry and sad over what this world is coming to...There is a new bible that just came out..and bewarned this is not a bible at all, more like a magazine with scripture mixed in and photos of celebrities. i just think it's sad and disgusting that God's word is being mocked. And as it says in the bible if you add or take away a word in the bible, that person will be cursed. Heavy words yet it's true..No one should make a beautiful bible the Word of God a magazine material for the X-Generation..Yes a lot of people in this day and age may enjoy this kind of bible, but they are not seeing the REAL thing which was paid with a price on the Cross. We were bought with a price..with Blood, our savior's blood. And that is not to be mocked. BUT celebrated that WE are free free to be forgiven for our sins, even i'm the worst of sinners YET i was saved by God's grace..Amen..It just makes me so mad that others will make a new version of the bible with photos of Angelina Jolie and other celebrities, it just diminishes God's word..and i just find it deplorable that this happened. YET we all must be careful to pass the Right versions of the bible to our children. The clean wonderful WORD which include some of the versions, are: King James, NIV, NASB, English Standard( i think that's the name of it i may be saying it wrong)..Yet i gotta also mention yet another version that most people don't take too seriously...The "Message" version...Yes i don't read just the "Message" as the only version in my life i read others..like NIV and NASB and others..but sometimes i like to look at Message..it has such fresh interesting bible perspective, it gives me different new ways of looking at the bible..Even the author of the Message said that it's a paraphrase of the bible, but there is beauty to it..THOUGH it should not be read as your only source of bible reading..but you can check it out..It's amazing in my view..THOUGH like i said priorly refer to the regular bible more often =))

Hey all sorry for being MIA a few days!!

Hi everyone...sorry i've not blogged in a bit, i just wanted to say Hi to my blogging friends and to say that all is well =)) the words that will sum up my life now is Busy Busy Busy...i've been so busy mostly with work and college too. Life is hectic but i still try to make time for God, on Wednesday i took some time before bed to read the Word of God, i read Romans 12 and a few other verses..and yesturday i took 25-30 minutes just to say the rosary and to meditate..sometimes i wish i took more time to have quiet time with God..i need more time with Jesus, i just need to get with it =))
I am also nervous yet excited because tommorow at work is a big day..i work in retail i work in Walgreens...we are having a Saturdate. it's a special day we have once a month when we sell certain stuff at either discounted price or we give little things free with the featured item =)) Last month i did this too and i featured the event...and we gave away little Starbucks candy for free and 5-6 coupons for more starbucks candy so that was a good deal =)) IF any of you live near a Walgreens you can check this event out it should be at all Walgreens around the country tommorow between 10-5pm..call there first before you go make sure this happens in your area, so you save some $ on gas =))

And yes last but not least i have some good news...I got another Customer Service star at work and a $25 gift card to use at Walgreens YAY! i might buy a $15 starbucks card with it and spend the rest on other things i need...but even this the success at work i have to give glory and credit to God...God is amazing and i am soooo glad that I found favor with my boss...=) It's all due to God =)) because honestly before this job, all the other jobs i held i either got fired, laid off, or quit..this is the 2nd job that i kept for many years..i've been with Walgreens for almost 4 years, it will be 4 years this December 2008..Praise God =))

Hi, as most of you know i had a minor car accident this Saturday September 27th, 2008.
this accident shook me up completely, it shook my faith as well..i swear for the 1st day all i did was worry and worry and worry some more about my car and about everything under the sun, i was worried i'd miss classes, not see my sanctuary lovely friends!! Oh Gosh i was consumed with fear and worry! BUT the next day i felt God urging me to surrender it all to HIS feet...to lay it all down at HIS wonderful majestic feet. BUT i couldn't i faught with him half the Sanctuary service..but something did click during the worship time..and i felt my burdens and worry a lot lighter..WHO did this?? Not I of course, But Jesus gave me the peace and the calm and the love beyond understanding..He gave me HIS everlasting love that's why I care so much about OUR Lord..sometimes my faith wavers ..i am like apostle Peter in some ways sometimes...even Peter denied Christ 3 times, i did it a lot more than 3 times, maybe a million times in my lifetime..BUT God loves me anyway, HE wants to forgive me cleanse me set me free and get me out of that pit..BUT the only way we can get out of there and BE delivered THE only way is for us to surrender everything at His Feet. and to admit that we made a mistake and confess and cry out to God....there is no other way. None...my friends i got this wisdom from God yes BUT also from the most wonderful book that i'm reading...called incidentally "Get out of that pit" By Beth Moore.I'll quote a passage from her book and from the Psalm 40...it will explain about how surrender and how getting out of that pit works....page 119 (Get out of that pit..by Beth Moore)I waited patiently for the Lord,he turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the slimy pit,out of the mud and mire;he set my feet on a rockand gave me a firm place to stand.-----How beautiful and profound that verse is....HE wants to get us out of the "Pit"...whatever that could be ranges from person to person, it could range from any addiction, alcohol abuse, drugs, eating disorders, stealing, cheating on your spouse, or being a victim like being raped, abused, neglected can all result into falling into a pit...No one can get us out except for God OUR Lord Jesus Christ. Yes people can try to get us out, and they can suceed for a little while, but in the long term, only Jesus can save us and get us out of our addictions, bad habits..He can heal us and save us as LONG as we ask. We have to ask...We MUST ask...and surrender everything at His feet.He is our Master He is our King He is our everything ..just remember all this because God can only help us and save us as long as we ask and as long as we are willing to do the WORK.Today whatever you do...open the bible read a few verses meditate on them, then kneel on your lknees and cry out to God and surrender your will completely to God and LAY it all before HIM.after that miracles will happen.You'll see! =)) that's all for tonight!sorry this was so long guys! VP Presidential debates and other musings =))

Hi everyone, i'm sorry i didn't post for a few days i just came back from a church retreat and i had the most amazing time there! We had lots of quiet time with God, prayer, worship, bonfire =)) and lots of friends i made that i didn't know before or not too well, and we played some board games at night..it was fun and wonderful! i felt God speaking to me at the retreat =)) in many ways! not loudly, but in the most still voice i heard him through others's life stories, through others' testimony, through nature and the beauty of it and of course through God's Word...it was beautiful time away from college and work and very relaxing i had an amazing time =)))

Now back to the old news of the Vice Presidential debates..they were amazing! even though some stuff that Biden said made sense i still stand for Mccain/Palin...i loved that Palin stood her ground, was witty, smart, and really intelligent, she stood her ground on the most important issues, war, economy, energy, and gay marriage. She flat out said that marriage was made by God for only men and women i agree with her..too many people nowaredays fool themselves that they are ok, that they can live any lifestyle they want, they gotta remember that they will have to answer to God Almighty..i have someone i know who is gay please please pray for her =))

I also can't stand abortion either, that's why they have adoption, and like Pslam 139 said we are knitted by God from the womb, we are already HIS when we are in the womb, so those sweet babies need to be protected ..and i strongly feel that Mccain/Palin will do a good job, definitely better than Obama who doesn't even support funds for our Troops...and Biden tried to call Mccain unpatriotic, who is he kidding? seriously..patriotism shows in standing up for what's right, in standing with our troops, giving them 100% support and funds, and standing up for the conservative wonderful values that we all hold so dear...I pray this country's citizens won't chose Obama because if that happens, i am sad to say that this country will be in shambles ;((

well these are my thoughts for the day...i will also in the next post repost a note that i wrote on facebook =))

it's a note on God's providence and how we should rely on Him completely and how HE desires us and how HE wants to get us out of that pit!! please read that too!

Hello all welcome to my new blog =))

Hi ya all...i am finally starting a blog for many reasons, so my friends can keep in touch with me, check up on me, and to tell stories about my life and of course to bring glory to God...i may not post every day..but i hope to post a few times a week or at least weekly..=) I was inspired to start this new blog by Jennifer(Child of the King)..check out my profile i wrote a lot in it =)) well sorry this is so short, i am just kind of tired and don't know what else to write yet...and i have lots of homework..=) i go to college and take psychology and i have a test next Thursday so i better go, i just wanted to introduce you to my neck of the woods...to this blog "Daughter of King Jesus" Believe me when i say this, but my posts later will become much longer than this or shorter so no worries friends =)) have a great week everyone!
